25th CEPR-JIE Conference on Applied Industrial Organization

London School of Economics (LSE), UK
29-30 May 2025

The 25th CEPR-JIE Conference on Applied Industrial Organization (IO) will be hosted at the Department of Management at LSE on 29-30 May 2025. Financial support for the conference is also generously provided by CEPRthe Journal of Industrial Economics (JIE), as well as by the STICERD at LSE.

The Applied IO conference series seeks to contribute to the understanding of the breadth of topics analysed within the field of Industrial Organization, including demand analysis, productivity, competition in the short- and long-run, innovation, investment, and auctions, to develop empirical protocols and tests of economic models, to promote the exchange and the dissemination of results at the forefront of research, and finally, to evaluate current competition and regulation policies. It will cover the state of the art in both theoretical and empirical Industrial Organization.

For the 25th edition of the conference, we will organise a special session on IO & Development which will occupy the first half-day of the conference. For this session, we welcome submissions that explore the intersection of Industrial Organization and Development Economics.

Following this special session, the remaining day and a half will proceed with the usual conference schedule, covering a wide range of topics in Industrial Organization.
