Çağatay Bircan is a Lead Research Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Industrial Professor at University College London (UCL). His research focuses on topics at the intersection of international and organisational economics, finance, and development. His work is regularly published in peer-reviewed outlets and presented widely. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan after graduating from Williams College with a BA in Economics, Mathematics, and German.
