Daniela Klingebiel has over two decades experience in reserve management, asset allocation, and investment governance. She was until recently a Senior Advisor and Head of the Reserve Advisory and Management Partnership (RAMP) at the World Bank. At RAMP, she advised central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and public pension institutions on strategic asset allocation, portfolio design, investment management, and risk frameworks. Previously, she served as Principal Portfolio Manager for the World Bank’s $30 billion pension plans, leading investments in private credit and emerging markets, co-managing the hedge fund portfolio, and overseeing currency and tactical asset allocation strategies. Earlier in her career, she advised emerging market governments on capital market development, banking reform, and financial crisis response. Her research focuses on banking, central banking, financial crises and crisis response, capital markets, and asset management.
