Erwan Gautier is Head of the Microeconomic Analysis Unit at Banque de France. He graduated from ENSAE in 2004 and received a PhD in Economics from the EHESS - Paris School of Economics in 2008. Prior to his current position, he was junior economist at the Economic and Financial Research Unit of Banque de France, Professor of Economics at the Universities of Nantes and Brest and senior economist at the Monetary Policy Unit of Banque de France. His research focuses on inflation, price and wage dynamics, households’ and firms’ expectations and monetary policy. He has published several articles in international journals such as Review of Economic Studies, American Economic Journal :Macroeconomics, Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking....
