Fernanda Ramirez-Espinoza

Fernanda Ramirez-Espinoza holds a Ph.D. in Education (2022) from Harvard University and is an Assistant Professor at the College UC and the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at J-PAL LAC, co-founded the NGO Educación 2020, worked at Chile’s Ministry of Education, and served as Executive Director of América Solidaria Haiti. Her research examines educational policies in Latin America, focusing on gender bias, STEM underrepresentation, and interventions to reduce gender gaps in education.
