Iris Kesternich holds a position as Nucleus Professor for Economics with a research focus on Empirical Health Economics at Hamburg University and a position as Professor for Behavioural Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Leuven. Her research focuses on health, labour and behavioural economics. Iris Kesternich obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Munich in 2010. She has published in academic journals such as the Economic Journal, the Journal of Public Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, and the Review of Economic Studies. Recently, she received an ERC Consolidator Grant for the project MORETHANMONEY - Nonwage attributes, gender, and the future of work.
