Vegard H. Larsen is an Associate Professor in Data Science and Analytics at BI Norwegian Business School. He previously held a Senior Researcher position at Norges Bank. Larsen has an MSc from NTNU and a PhD in Economics from BI. His research combines economics, machine learning, and natural language processing to study economic shocks, expectations, and measurement of sentiment, uncertainty, and climate risk.
